There is one thing every single one of us CAN do t There is one thing every single one of us CAN do to show we care about this planet: NOT LITTER. As is our habit, we picked up trash at a local conservation area this afternoon. Water bottle caps, gun shot casings, plastic tampon applicators, bottles, aluminum cans, ribbons, rope, cigarillo tips, styrofoam, baggies, wrappers, gloves, plant containers, cigarette butts, straws, coffee cup lids, stir sticks, and toilet paper (so much toilet paper!). Some of these things wash up on the beach but some is clearly left behind even though there are so many garbage receptacles nearby. This is officially the longest we have been in one This is officially the longest we have been in one place since 2012. We miss travelling. Who doesn’t?! And so we decided yesterday that we would list 5, maybe 10, of our favourite places we’ve travelled in the van since 2014. Turns out that was a much more difficult task than we thought it would be. We’re currently at 40! One of our very favourite places was Newfoundland. All of it! After a cursory glance at available photos on the phone we came across these three. Not the beautiful landscape pics or incredible people we met along the way that made the experience exceptional but these three photos. Gee did we laugh. Because as of last night the stay at home order here in Ontario became much more strict. We cannot spend time, even in the outdoors, with anyone outside of our own household.
